On September 13, the European Parliament approved a new legislation about orphan works: photos, film or publications protected by copyright, but whose right holders cannot be found could be made available to the public across the EU.
This is a great initiative that allows European libraries and museums to use orphan works and protect them from copyright infringement claims.
