New e-book records in our catalogue

"Open access journals", "institutional repositories", "open archives", are terms that everyone in academic communities knows.
Many researchers use them and many institutions have created their open archives but, especially for Social sciences and Humanities, books are still precious sources for researchers and students.
In the last years these disciplinary fileds has suffered from the serials crises and libraries budget cuts. For these reasons the importance of free access to e-book collections has grown dramatically, as shown in this report on open access monograph publishing in the Netherlands.

It is during the International Open Access Week that we decided to select some relevant e-book from the platform Oapen and to register them in our catalogue.
Every e-book record has a link to the webpage where you can download the pdf and the link to the related Creative Commons license that regulates the rights both of the reader and of the author.
