This morning I have found the news about another museum that decided to make available its images for free download.
It's the famous Rijksmuseum, a is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Meisje in witte kimono, George Hendrik Breitner, 1894
The collection of the museum includes more than 155.000 works, with paintings by Jacob van Ruysdael, Frans Hals, Fra Angelico, Vermeer and Rembrandt.
You have only to create a profile and then you can download images, part of them, share them via Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest and finally use the images for any personal purpose.
Even the browsing is well organized: you can browse by artist, subject, colors, style and affinity.
Try it now!
