The Dictionary of Medieval Names in European Sources (DMNES) is a brand new online dictionary of all names found in Eurpean sources dated between 600 and 1600. The dictionary is edited by some English researchers under the direction of Sara L. Uckelman form Durham University.
It contains over 20,000 citations of more than 1,000 different names from Portugal, Spain, Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Italy, Norway, sweden, Germany and many other European countries.
It's possible to browse the list of names in alphabetical order, but the staff is working to add a search tool and maps.
